I got this pot about a week ago for making beer at home and it's fantastic. It's a good thickness, and has a nice heavy bottom. It's easy to clean and easy to store. All in all a very good value.

The only down side with a pot this big is that it's just a little too tall to get the faucet of my kitchen sink into it. I end up having to use the sprayer or fill it at an angle to get it clean. This may just be me though, as it doesn't seem abnormally tall.

This is good quality stock pot that will last many years and I look forward to brewing a vast amount of mini-batches of beer in the years to come. I had high hopes of during a full 6 gallons batche of beer when I initially purchased this items, however upon receipt I immediately prepared to brew a full batch of beer(5gal)the same day. I fill this 30 quarts stock pot with 20 quarts of water to start the brew process and you can imagine my surprise to observe water level at top of my new 30 quart stainless stock pot. I move the pot over to my 5 gallon carboy and verify the amount of water that was contain within this pot and indeed I truely only had 5 gallons of water. I recheck the bottom of the pot and it is stamped with a quanity of 30 quarts. I will not go to effort of returning this item, instead I went out locally and purchase myself a good quality 32 quart stainless pot. I have placed Amazon on my 6 month probation list meaning I will not make any purchase from this site during this timeframe, because I demand the highest standards and loyal from Amazon, just as I provide to them. Alpha has ripped me off I will ensure everyone in my brew club (150 members) is aware of this company unsavory practice and I will never make another purchase from this business. I failed to heed the warning of another buyer and got taken by this scam.
