Incredible non-stick finish requires no oil/butter at anytime. So easy to clean forget the dishwasher. Great balance, sits flat on the burner and cooks evenly. GREAT PAN!

This is my second one. I use it nearly every day for browning meats and stir fying vegetables. Although I only use soft utensils, the coating lasts about 3 years. Since it's such a workhorse, I had to get another one. I was going through All Clad Non-stick and Emeril pans at a faster clip than this - two years. I also liked the larger, flatter cooking surface on the Scanpan. My only complaint is the underside of the pan has little grooves for conductivity. Since the pan also has low sides, the sputters from frying accumulate on it over time (they're impossible to remove once they're there) and this stains my ceramic stovetop with each use. I also have a 10" Scanpan that I keep strickly for frying eggs and making omelets so the surface remains completely nonstick.
