My phone has endured a few falls and lots of rough handling by my kids playing games on it, safely encased in the Ballistic HC.
After several months of using it I feel confident it can protect the phone. It has a built in screen protector too! This has held up well with only light scratches. I'm a hard working person every day, and this phone is always with me, so its been through quite a bit.
The clip part works well to keep the phone in my pocket at work while working at heights and on scaffolding, so it doesnt slip out and fall.
My only complaint is that the outer rubberized shell has some retaining clips on the face of the phone that invariably pop out every couple of days and have to be popped back in. But, its a small thing to do it. I should get around to super gluing them but haven't so far.
This will protect your phone and its screen from the wear and tear of daily use, at the expense of making your phone somewhat bulkier.
I definitely recommend this product.

This case actually has many safety features to protect the phone. It has a screen protector, a rubber surround case and a holster to attach to a belt (etc.)
I had priced this at ATT when we got the phone they wanted $49.99 for the case. Amazon provided it for 24.99. A nice savings.

This case is everything they said it was. For an expensive phone it serves as adequate protection. Even though I have already broken the clip because it got hung on something as I was making an arrest, the phone crashing to the concrete did no damage to the phone. That's the only warning I'd mention to perspective buyers. If you have it on your side, the sheer size of it makes it snag on anything, so be careful. It's still a great buy.
